Job Description
The Development Quality Assurance Lead for Programming / Software Application will work with cross-functional Development teams / Projects to do proactive identification of errors, bugs and issues in UI – ST, SS – IT and PS – PT phases according to Fujitsu Software Development standards (SDLC).
Should have strong background in managing the following:
Software Application metrics
Quantitative and Qualitative analysis
Doing Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Using RCA to improve and monitor Project metrics
Create action plans and follow through with different Managers on the status of their Projects
Should be a Proactive individual contributor who has excellent interpersonal skills because communication with different Managers and Japanese partners is required for the role.
Responsibilities:
To audit and review each software development process based on Quality guidelines/framework for Software Development, using SDEM (SDLC) and Agile Methodologies.
Provide detailed Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on identified Bug trends and Issues on QUALITY and PRODUCTIVITY of assigned Projects. To monitor Metrics status per Project, which will be reported on a weekly AND monthly basis to Delivery teams and Stakeholders.
Work with cross-functional Development teams / Projects to do proactive identification of errors / bugs / issues in UI – ST, SS – IT and PS – PT phases according to Fujitsu Software Development standards (SDLC)
Perform as Third Party Inspector doing Development Screens inspection, reporting of Findings, Defects and doing Root Cause Analysis on inspection results.
Review and investigate Customer Satisfaction responses (Partner Performance Reviews) from both Japan and Philippines teams, provide feedback to stakeholders on results.
As part of Quality Assurance Management, map action items per Issue status to track progress, for preventive measure and continuous improvement (SIP).
To objectively coach and provide feedback to Developer teams based on findings.
Any additional tasks that will be assigned by your direct Manager.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years working experience in Software Development.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Quality Assurance Management - focusing on Software Application metrics, doing RCA and monitoring QUALITY and PRODUCTIVITY.
Must have experience in Defect / Bug tracking and Test Results documentation.
Must have experience in Blackbox testing, UI & Compatibility testing.
Experience in communicating with Local and Global counterparts (excellent comm skills).
Intermediate level experience in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and presentation skills is REQUIRED.
Must be flexible to work in Cebu Business Park.
Must be flexible to work on different shifts, holidays, doing overtime, etc.
