Position Overview

 

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall operations of the office as well as the day-to-day financial control, accounting, tax compliance and office administration functions.

Reporting to the Director Asia-Pacific, you will also be in charge of managing company processes, systems and procedures.

 

Your duties and functions would be

 

Management of the timely and accurate production of all financial and statutory accounting, reporting and outputs as well as tax compliance

Manage the monthly/quarterly/annual close periods and ensure completeness of all financial, statutory and group accounting and reporting whilst ensuring compliance with accounting principles/standards and relevant regulations

Receivables control with payment follow-up for customers in the region

Managing the bank accounts, payments, and treasury functions

Management and financial reporting

Working with QuickBooks

Ensure BIR & SEC Compliance as well as Employee SSS, PHIC & HDMF

Payroll administration

Petty cash handling

Logistics coordination

Responsible for all administrative functions of the office

Strategic advice and recommendations to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s financial and administrative operations

 

The Ideal candidate

 

A Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Commerce or any business-related course

At least 5-8 years’ experience in accounting, finance and administration functions

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Comfortable working with numbers with a keen eye for detail

Self-motivated, driven and passionate

Can work with minimal supervision
